Woodbridge had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the El Modena Vanguards 2-1. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by just one goal.

Woodbridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for El Modena, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodbridge will take on Huntington Beach in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
