Basketball Recap: South Western Comes Up Short

South Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central York Panthers. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

South Western's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Central York, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

South Western will venture away from home to challenge Waynesboro at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Waynesboro will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something South Western surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central York, they will be playing at home against Cedar Cliff at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
