Zaena Harris was dialed in as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She was up against Riverdale and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in August of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her eighth in a row with six or more strikeouts. For the season, Harris has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 4.33 over 32.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.517/0.563/1.138 with 11 RBI.

Harris' strong effort led Luella over Riverdale and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are a perfect 7-0 against the Raiders going back to September of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
