Recap: Fairfax Lions vs. Inglewood Sentinels        
        
		
            
 On Wednesday, Fairfax made easy work of Inglewood  and carried off a  53-32 win. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Fairfax.
 Fairfax found their leader in underclassman  Alyssa McKenzie, who  dropped  a double-double on 33 points and 21  rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which  McKenzie has scored at least 25% of Fairfax's points. Another player making a difference was  Desiree Gage, who  scored seven points along with five  rebounds and four  steals.
 Fairfax's victory  ended a seven-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 3-3. As for Inglewood, their loss was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  bumped their record down to 1-3.
 Fairfax will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Torres at 1:30  p.m.  on January 2, 2024. Inglewood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Beverly Hills at 5:00  p.m.  on January 3, 2024.
