Liberty has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 9. They fell just short of the Arlington Lions by a score of 3-2 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 502nd, while the Lions are ranked 129th).

Taylor Dallin and Olivia Worm scored both of Liberty's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Arlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arlington, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Hart on the 12th.
