St. Paul is 9-1 against Ord since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will challenge the Chanticleers at 11:00 a.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Meanwhile, Ord fell victim to Twin River and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Titans, falling 11-0. The Chanticleers have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Ord's defeat dropped their record down to 6-23. As for St. Paul, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Ord's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: St. Paul has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.7 hits per game. It's a different story for Ord, though, as they've been averaging 8.9 hits. Given St. Paul's sizable advantage in that area, the Chanticleers will need to find a way to close that gap.

St. Paul took their win against Ord in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
