Baseball Game Preview: Roswell Hornets vs. Chattahoochee Cougars

The Roswell Hornets will head out to square off against the Chattahoochee Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Roswell had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Collins Hill on Friday. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Chattahoochee came into Saturday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Centennial 13-2 on Saturday. The Cougars not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th.

Roswell is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Chattahoochee, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.
