Baseball Game Preview: Collins Hill Eagles vs. Mill Creek Hawks

The Collins Hill Eagles will head out to challenge the Mill Creek Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Collins Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Collins Hill came up short against Roswell on Friday, falling 15-3.

Collins Hill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Atticus Joseph, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Mill Creek came up short against Marist on Thursday and fell 8-5. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the War Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Collins Hill's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-11. As for Mill Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

Collins Hill couldn't quite get it done against Mill Creek in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 6-3. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
