White Pine hadn't done well against Lincoln County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bobcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Lynx. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Lynx on Friday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was White Pine who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 15-12.

Brenley Skadburg paced White Pine's offense, picking up ten kills. Skadburg got some help from Savanna Pratt and her 14 assists.

White Pine is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season. As for Lincoln County, they moved to 25-6 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.
