Cairo won against Dougherty on Thursday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Syrupmakers were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Valdosta Wildcats. The Syrupmakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Cairo's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Valdosta, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Coming up, Cairo will square off against Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valdosta, they will be playing at home against Colquitt County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
