Baseball Recap: Princeton Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Princeton waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Wyoming Cowboys get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Camden Broadnax was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Kenny Pope was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Princeton's record is now 17-9. As for Wyoming, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-10.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Princeton will welcome Little Miami at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Wyoming, they will take on Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy in a tournament on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Cowboys' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
