Softball Recap: Bishop McGuinness Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Bishop McGuinness was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They fell just short of the Weatherford Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop McGuinness saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lainey Waldo - 2027, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Addy Harley - 2026 also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Bishop McGuinness' loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Weatherford, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-5.

While Bishop McGuinness had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
