Cate scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Coastal Christian Conquerors, falling 50-26. The defeat leaves the Rams without a win on the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coastal Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bristol Machgan, who almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, 11 boards, and ten steals. Machgan is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least six every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Starkovich, who posted 16 points along with eight boards and seven blocks.

Cate's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Coastal Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Cate will host Bishop Diego at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Diego has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Coastal Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-3 win against Laguna Blanca on the 11th.
