Soccer Game Preview: Camanche vs. Muscatine

The Camanche Indians will head out to face off against the Muscatine Muskies at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Camanche's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Camanche came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-0 to Davenport Central.

Meanwhile, Muscatine came up short against Davenport North on Monday, falling 6-1. Muscatine have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camanche's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Muscatine, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Camanche might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from Muscatine in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
