Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Pike County hit Trinity Christian with a four-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lions came up short against the Pirates, falling 9-1. The Lions have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Trinity Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makenzie Knowles, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Pike County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Trinity Christian will square off against Upson-Lee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pike County, they will take on Newnan at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
