Cochranton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alaina Shorts out in front who went 6 for 15 on her way to 18 points and four steals. Those 18 points gave Shorts a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Marley Rodax, who posted 11 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Cochranton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive games.

Despite the defeat, Commodore Perry saw an underclassman step up: freshman Evalyn Furey had 18 points along with six assists and five boards. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for Furey. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazlyn Boyles, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.
