Basketball Recap: Pocono Mountain East Comes Up Short

Pocono Mountain East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 45-29 bruising from the Northampton Konkrete Kids. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 50-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

Pocono Mountain East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Northampton, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pocono Mountain East will venture away from home to square off against Stroudsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northampton, they will square off against Easton Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
