King has gone a perfect 10-0 against Corona recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Wolves will challenge the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. This will be King's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

King is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Roosevelt just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, King's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Corona made sure to put some goals up on the board against Lakeside on Friday. They blew past the Lancers 5-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Corona's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 239th, while Lakeside are ranked 912th).

Corona is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for King, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3-3.

King was able to grind out a solid win over Corona in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, winning 2-0. Will Wolves repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
