That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.3 points per game. As for Mission Viejo, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
Capistrano Valley might still be hurting after the 45-22 loss they got from Mission Viejo when the teams last played last Tuesday.
