Softball Recap: Wilkinson County Comes Up Short

Wilkinson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dublin Fighting Irish, falling 21-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 last Monday.

Wilkinson County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Dublin, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record this season.

Wilkinson County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-1 loss against Georgia School for Innovation & Classics on the 23rd. As for Dublin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 22-15 win against Jefferson County on the 23rd.
