The Galt Warriors suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by Liberty Ranch on the road and fell 68-11. Galt was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-3.

When it comes to explaining why Galt lost, one person who can't be blamed is Akayla-Joy Gunter. Despite the final result, she scored ten points. That was a full 90.9% of Galt's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Haley Smith continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Liberty Ranch, scoring 23 points along with five steals and two blocks. Smith has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Mccoy, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Galt's loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.0 points per game. As for Liberty Ranch, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
