Softball Recap: Hugo Comes Up Short

Hugo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against McAlester, falling 12-0.

Hugo's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for McAlester, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.

Coming up, Hugo will be playing at home against Clayton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McAlester, they will face off against Checotah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Buffaloes' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
