Soccer Game Preview: Christian Brothers vs. Ponderosa

The Christian Brothers Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Ponderosa Bruins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Christian Brothers' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Christian Brothers fell victim to Woodcreek and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Ponderosa didn't have quite enough to beat Woodcreek on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

Ponderosa has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-4 record this season. As for Christian Brothers, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11-3.
