Basketball Game Preview: South Park Eagles vs. Upper St. Clair Panthers

The South Park Eagles will head out to take on the Upper St. Clair Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

South Park is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Elizabeth Forward just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Upper St. Clair also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Penn-Trafford by a score of 62-50.

South Park's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Upper St. Clair, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

South Park strolled past Upper St. Clair in their previous meeting back in January of 2017 by a score of 59-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
