Baseball Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the Orange County Fighting Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in April.

Monticello's record now sits at 2-18. As for Orange County, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9-1.

Looking ahead, Monticello will challenge Charlottesville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Orange County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
