New kid on the block Corner Canyon looks to establish dynasty in the Beehive State.

High school football teams in Utah get the honor of kicking off the 2020 season at all levels – prep, college or pro – when things get underway Aug. 13. In preparation for openers around the Beehive State, we are sizing up the contenders with a look at the state's Top 25 teams across all classifications.

Defending state champions Corner Canyon in Class 6A and Orem in 4A are among the teams to watch heading into the fall.

Corner Canyon enters the fall riding a 26-game win streak with back-to-back championships. The Chargers are 37-1 over the past three seasons, all the more remarkable considering the school opened its doors in 2013.

Orem has won three straight titles with the first two coming at the 4A level and 5A last season but will have a new look this year without two-way star Noah Sewell, who is now a freshman at the University of Oregon.
