Volleyball Recap: Overton's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Overton came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Ravenna Bluejays as they made off with a 3-0 win. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Overton was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-16.

Daisy Ryan paced Overton's offense, picking up eight kills. Ryan got some help from Kyla Elfgren and her 18 assists. Gracen Hughes controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Overton's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Ravenna, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Overton will take on Pleasanton on Thursday. As for Ravenna, they will face off against Sandhills/Thedford on Thursday.
