St. Michael won the last time they faced Eunice and things went their way on Saturday too. The Horsemen simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cardinals 47-8. Fans of the Horsemen have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Isaiah Dominguez produced another solid effort rushing for 64 yards and two TDs on only six carries, while also picking up 69 receiving yards and one touchdown. Pete Johnson was another key player, rushing for 75 yards and one score on only nine carries.

Another reason for the win was St. Michael's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Ryan Hunt. Those three sacks set a new season-high mark for him.

St. Michael's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Eunice, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, St. Michael's will welcome Raton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eunice, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Loving at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
