Soccer Recap: South Range Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, South Range was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of the Girard Indians by a score of 2-1.

South Range's goal came courtesy of Mason Naples, who's now up to eight this season.

South Range's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Girard, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Range will face off against Salem at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Range's defense better be ready for this one: Salem have averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season. As for Girard, they will square off against Newton Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
