Basketball Recap: San Rafael Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

San Rafael won the last time they faced College Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The San Rafael Bulldogs came out on top against the College Prep Cougars by a score of 36-27.

Despite the defeat, College Prep saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lulu S posted six points.

San Rafael pushed their record up to 3-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.7 points per game. As for College Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Rafael and Archie Williams will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. San Rafael is facing Archie Williams at the right time seeing as Archie Williams is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for College Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Head-Royce at 4:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
