Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Zion vs. Morrow

The Mt. Zion Bulldogs will face off against the Morrow Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Zion will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Mt. Zion had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt North Clayton on Tuesday. Mt. Zion put the hurt on North Clayton with a sharp 7-1 win. Luis Ramirez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Morrow's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to Northgate.

Mt. Zion's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Morrow, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
