Soccer Game Preview: Mills vs. Silver Creek

The Mills Vikings are taking a road trip to take on the Silver Creek Raiders at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Mills has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Mills' offense. They lost 7-0 to Mountain View on Thursday. Mills have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Silver Creek was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged out Westmont 2-1.

Maya Barajas and Stephanie Rosas Parraga scored both of Silver Creek's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The victory got Silver Creek back to even at 1-1. As for Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
