Football Recap: Richfield Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Richfield can now relate to. They fell just short of the Roosevelt Teddies by a score of 16-14 on Tuesday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Teddies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Richfield now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Roosevelt, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-5.

Richfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roosevelt, they will challenge Academy of Holy Angels on Saturday. The Teddies will need to watch out since the Stars have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups.
