Soccer Recap: Norwalk Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pella Christian on Tuesday, Norwalk came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the Dowling Catholic Maroons by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Norwalk have struggled against Dowling Catholic recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Norwalk now has a losing record of 7-8-2. As for Dowling Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwalk will challenge North Polk at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dowling Catholic, they will take on Southeast Polk at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
