Softball Game Preview: Haralson County Rebels vs. Temple Tigers

The Haralson County Rebels will head out to take on the Temple Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Haralson County's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Temple's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Haralson County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Bowdon on Monday. They fell 5-1 to the Red Devils.

Haralson County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Fennell, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Ryleigh Williams was another, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Temple had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Model on Monday.

Haralson County's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Temple, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Haralson County was able to grind out a solid victory over Temple in their previous matchup on September 11th, winning 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
