King/Drew came tearing into Friday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.7 goals) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Foshay Wolverines as they made off with a 5-2 victory. Considering the Golden Eagles have won five games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kennedy Caesar and Barbara Anguiano scored all five of King/Drew's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

King/Drew's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four contests. As for Foshay, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King/Drew will square off against GALA at 2:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Foshay, they will head out on the road to square off against Harbor Teacher at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
