Basketball Recap: Redondo Union Takes a Loss

Redondo Union and Santa Margarita squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Redondo Union had to settle for second. They fell 56-47 to the Santa Margarita Eagles.

Redondo Union's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Santa Margarita, their win bumped their record up to 18-10.

Redondo Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Santa Margarita, they will be playing at home against Harvard-Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Harvard-Westlake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Santa Margarita likes a good challenge.
