Baseball Recap: Meadowcreek Comes Up Short

Meadowcreek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the Brookwood Broncos, falling 12-2. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Meadowcreek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khristopher Gutierrez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meadowcreek's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Brookwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meadowcreek will head out to square off against North Gwinnett at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brookwood, they will face off against Hillgrove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillgrove will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Brookwood surely won't give up without a fight.
