Softball Game Preview: Unity Christian Knights vs. Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals

The Unity Christian Knights will face off against the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Unity Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Lyon, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 6-4 on Monday. The Knights have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Sibley-Ocheyedan came into Monday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Okoboji an 11-0 shutout on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Generals considering their one-run performance the game before.

Unity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Sibley-Ocheyedan, their win bumped their record up to 3-11.
