Softball Recap: Mercer Takes a Loss

Mercer fell victim to Gilman City and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 15-0. The defeat leaves the Cardinals still looking for their first win of the season.

Mercer's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Gilman City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mercer will welcome Princeton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gilman City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grundy County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
