Softball Recap: Bethel Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Bethel, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They never let the Jones Longhorns get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won seven in a row.

Not much got past Lakin Davis, who gave up just a hit to keep Jones off the board. Davis has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ava Gascon, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Tucker, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Bethel's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Jones, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
