Softball Recap: Truman Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Truman's offense. They came up short against the Oak Grove Panthers on Friday, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Patriots' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Truman's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Oak Grove, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Truman will challenge Chrisman at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Grove, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Neosho on the 26th.
