Softball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Luther

While Luther's victory against Meeker wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 3-1. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Luther's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Meeker, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Luther wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-4 defeat against Oilton on the 16th. Hopefully Meeker paid attention to the Lions' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
