It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Anzar can now relate to. They took a hard 40-23 fall against the Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons on Saturday. The Hawks' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Crystal Springs Uplands' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Riley Martin, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points Martin has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Casey Louie, who scored 12 points and five boards.

Anzar's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Anzar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-32 loss against St. Francis on the 25th.
