Softball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

The Wayne Falcons lost 9-2 to the Creston Panthers on Saturday. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Creston, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Wayne will take on East Union at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Creston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kuemper at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
