Softball Recap: Charlton County Triumphs

Charlton County proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 14) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Worth County Rams 8-6.

Macariyah Gibbs was incredible, earning four runs and five stolen bases. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Karleigh Crews was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Charlton County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Worth County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Charlton County will face off against Cook at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Worth County, they will take on Crisp County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
