Softball Recap: Josey Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Josey). They blew past the Glenn Hills Spartans 22-1 on Wednesday. The Eagles' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Kerri Fluellen, who got two hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Jariyah Grant, who got two hits.

Josey's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Glenn Hills, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Josey will take on Thomson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Glenn Hills, they will venture away from home to challenge Laney at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.75 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
