The Wickliffe Blue Devils will face off against the Fairview Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wickliffe is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Wickliffe will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Brush, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Blue Devils blew past the Arcs 14-8 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Alex Aheimer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has become a key player for Wickliffe: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-11 otherwise. Aheimer was even better at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Frankie Bucar, who went 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Blake Ludvik, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
Wickliffe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Fairview came out on top against Cuyahoga Falls on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Black Tigers 7-5.
Cooper Thomas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up ten Ks.
On the hitting side, Burke Lowry was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Shomon, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
The win got Fairview back to even at 7-7. As for Wickliffe, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Wickliffe has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Fairview struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
