Soccer Game Preview: Callaway vs. North Springs

The Callaway Cavaliers will challenge the North Springs Spartans at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Callaway is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Callaway didn't have quite enough to beat Troup County and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, North Springs lost 6-2 to Holy Innocents Episcopal on Tuesday. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Ethan Wilson and Zeke Anderson scored both of North Springs' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Callaway now has a losing record of 2-3. As for North Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Callaway beat North Springs by a goal in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 2-1. Will Callaway repeat their success, or does North Springs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
