Softball Recap: Portal's Run of Five Straight Wins Now Over

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Portal's offense. They came up short against the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The loss snapped Portal's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-7 record. As for Emanuel County Institute, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
